ST. LOUIS – New regulations on poultry processors to curb the spread of salmonella.

The USDA wants to reduce salmonella in raw chicken products or risk being shut down.

Affected products could include breaded and stuffed raw chicken products. Chicken cordon bleu and chicken kiev.

Salmonella illnesses cause 26,000 hospital visits and 420 deaths a year according to the CDC.
