Sooooooo I have been called a troll, hater, bitch, and explicit words for mentally disabled individuals (retarded) but it might be time to admit that I was right about something…. I think Justin Herbert fucking sucks??? Yes, statically he is having another great season and is on a Chargers team that is 5-3 but watching this guy is infuriating. His wins are over the Raiders (2-6 on verge of firing their coach), Texans (1-6-1, likely drafting top 2 in NFL Draft), Broncos (3-5 DangerRuss…. Enough said), Browns (3-5 with a backup QB), and Falcons (4-5 tied for first in the worst division in football). Not a single team with a winning record. He also has blowout losses to teams that are led by Trevor Lawrence and Geno Smith…… I’ll give it to him that he battled in a close loss to Patrick Mahomes early this season. The Los Angeles Chargers have not had a strong schedule to start the season and luckily for the team, it was gifted a third place schedule in 2022 due to Brandon Staley’s poor decision making. This team could easily be 3-5 or worse.
Over the next 6 weeks, this Chargers squad is going to face a very tough upcoming schedule playing in order: at 49ers, vs. Chiefs, at Cardinals, at Raiders, vs. Dolphins, vs. Titans. Truthfully I see this Chargers team getting 2 wins over their next 6 games placing them into a situation where we will need to see growth and maturity of Justin Herbert as he attempts to get his first playoff birth. If he misses the playoffs, I know we will receive message about how his receivers are hurt, his defense underperformed, his coach is an idiot, etc. At some point Chargers fans, you might need to figure out that your Quarterback is just not as good as you think and for the love of god, can we please stop using the word “elite” about a guy that has not only not won a playoff game, has not even played in one.
