Dress- Avaro Figlio
Bag – Prada vid Rebag
Photos by Javicho Rivero

Long time no see. I haven’t posted over here in a while and what a better way to start again with this elegant outfit and photos we took outside Grand Central. I was wearing this gorgeous black and white Avaro Figlio dress i’m obsessed with. Paired it with this mini Prada bag and my all time favorite suede platforms (I’ve worn them for years because they have a huge platform and they’re so freaking comfortable). The dress was asymmetrical so I wore opaque tights because I didn’t want any skin to show in the legs. I think turned out pretty well 🙂

Okay so for 2021 my goal is to update this space with more outfit posts for you guys. I have so many photos I don’t share because I just don’t really know if they’re post worthy, and then I get so many messages from you telling me you miss my posts, and then I feel bad because I know I haven’t shared as much. But i’ll do it more. I’ll update this space as much as I can.  I’ll stop rambling now and wish you a very merry Christmas. I hope you have the most wonderful eve with your loved ones. This has been a hell of a crazy year for ALL of us. Let me tell you my year has been the craziest ever. I don’t even know where to start. But at the same time it has been the best one, not because it has really been, but it’s been the year i’ve learn the most of, and thats the most important thing. I’ve grown so much and that is what matters. I feel stronger and when I look at myself and who I was in 2019 I wouldn’t believe it. Even though whatever happens is not the best, or not what you expect, or what you want, you will always become a better person. So thats what we should take out of this madness of 2020. I hope you’re all well. I love you so much and i’ll see you on my next post. Probably not on 2021 yet because i’m going to post more often like I told you.  Goodnight.

Coat- Meotine
Corset – Amazon
Pants – old/ similar here and here
Boots – thrifted / similar here
Bag- Prada

A black and white outfit again. Winter makes me stop wearing color and just go for leather and lots of different textures if you can tell. I’ve been wearing a lot of tighter tops and lower waisted pants lately (mostly wider). It reminds me of my old silhouettes when I used to thrift a lot. I used to thrift tighter tops, low cut corsets, textured blouses and bustiers. I would pair them with low waisted pants or mini skirts and call it a day, or outfit for that matter. I guess everything you once truly liked always comes back. Personal taste in essence never changes. I’m glad I never got rid of my most loved vintage tops because I’m going to dust them off and wear them again! I feel my fashion taste was always inspired by old school New York city street style. If you wanna know, I generally wear all black outfits, involving leather and platforms 4/7 days a week. I genuinely think it might be too repetitive so I don’t usually shoot those outfits I overwear. This would essentially be more of an elevated version but you get the idea! Anyway I’ll stop rambling and see you in my next post.

Tee -Vintage
Pants – ASOS
Jacket – Meotine
Shoes – Dr Martens

Been living in these pants since winter started. I just wish I had them in every single color, from black to beige, burgundy or even deep green ugh. Don’t get me wrong I love this suit grey shade but I just need them in every single color. I usually pair them with a cropped tee like the outfit above with a longsleeve tshirt under and any oversized jacket. Another cool option is to pair these wide baggy pants with oversized graphic tees and a flannel like the outfit below, just a lazy day outfit alternative when I’m tired of wearing sweatpants and I want to be 100% comfortable. They’re a bit long so I always wear some platforms so I don’t step on them, so im either wearing them with my docs or my creepers.

Top – Revolve
Pants – Coal N Terry
Shoes – Nike

Another monochrome look featuring cargo pants (what else is new) and a mock neck top which is one of my favorite kind of pieces. Mock neck tops have such a 90s vibe I love, specially if they come in dirty moody tones or neutral shades like this one. I actually wore this a few months ago when it wasn’t too cold. Obviously, otherwise I would be freezing in the pictures. But still, today I would switch the top for a green hoodie. Same effortless and comfy vibes.
Also, ive had this sneakers for a while now but didnt had the chance to feature them on the blog yet. I wanted a pair of jordans and that matched my hair lol so these were a no brainer. Ive been wearing these with basic fits like jeans or all black outfits. This look was a bit more out of my comfort zone and I kind of love how it turned out!
Anyways, I know I promised you I would update this space almost every day and now I will! expect a new outfit post tomorrow and the day after and so on 🙂 love you all!

Top is from Etsy.

Skirt was a vintage men’s pants I cut.

shoes are Demonia.

bag is Asos

An outfit I wore a few weeks ago that I’ve been wanting to post since forever. I can’t get over my little diy skirt I came up with in two seconds haha. I literally wanted a black skirt to wear with this outfit and all I could find in my closet was pleated skirts or flared ones and I wanted a straight looking one. So I thought how do I make a black mini from something I have. Found some baggy men black jeans (because I can have too many pieces, but not a simple black skirt) and cut it in the middle and cropped it as a skirt. Love the result!!! The top is short sleeved that I layered over a pair of black tights worn as a long sleeve top. A girl needs to find ways to wear crop tops in winter 😂 hope you guys are well! More outfit posts coming soon!

Grey top – shop here

Jeans – Kooples

Blazer – Cinq a Sept

Bag – Coach

Some of us are getting back to work/ office and some of us just want to dress up fancier while working at home. So today I bring a look I would particularly wear on those occasions when I want to look put together but still look in some sort of way “modest”. Skinny jeans (even though I was starting to ditch those), high heels, a loose tee and a blazer to dress it all up! I love a good silhouette and this is basically the main point of the outfit. Just make sure the blazer is suited enough and the jeans cut at the ankles with the heels! The tee is the softest I’ve ever gotten to be honest.

I’ve been in the hunt for tees like these in ages and finally found the perfect ones in Amazon and I honestly had to get them in every color (wearing all in size medium, they run a bit small!). Whenever i’m not in the mood for high waisted pants or tight stuff I throw these and still look put together. They have a low cut in the front and some slits in the hips that make the body way more flattering.  The black one is my favorite, it reminds me of the old tees I used to wear back in the days but they also have really cool shades like this dark grey i’m wearing in the pictures above and the green one in the picture below! I promise you wont regret getting one or many of these, you’ll be throwing these on every day with anything… from jeans, to sweatpants, to pants in general and even with maxi skirts or mini skirts! The best part is you can accessorize them in so many ways and give them a totally different touch, from boho vibes to a darker aesthetic or a little punk edge. Had to take some selfies for stories to show you and had to post them over here to to show you the fits!

Lately I’ve realized the importance of quality over quantity. I definitely love splurging on a million thrifted pieces but when it actually comes to staple or key pieces, I have realized that shopping smarter is more important. I’ve had a million backpacks but they all end up falling to pieces and I end up giving it away. And to be honest nothing feels better than investing in something that will last a lifetime. That’s what I do with handbags since you always need to wear a bag. In my case I usually wear very similar bags and I don’t feel I need to shop for crazy different ones, making my shopping easier.

To be honest, when shopping for designer bags I do take my time until I’m completely sure. If you’re indecisive like me you’ll understand I’ve had a bag in my cart for more than a month lol. So I got you. Keep reading to know some of my tips!

You can get a the coolest Fendi pieces here. This site has great designer new launches and the service is great.

Make sure you check out The Real Real for cool vintage bags, they have so many options! It’s my go to. I got this 2000’s Street Chic Columbus Dior bag and a vintage Chanel there.

I always make sure to shop smart and that’s how I got my favorite bags at the moment.

Here’s some tips I always take in consideration:

  • Go for colors and textures you wear the most. In my case I always look for neutral/ black shades so they match with everything. Then I would pick my favorite colors such as burgundy or dark green. Who doesn’t loves a nice pop of color in a full black look. I also make sure I get a texture that matches with my whole wardrobe. Love me a vintage leather, sequined or faux furry even!
  • I make sure I look for photos of people wearing the bag, not just look at the store image. I would google the bag or look it up on Pinterest to see street style photos. It’s good to get an idea of how you would style it or how many pieces in your closet match. You don’t want a bag that you can’t wear much!
  • If you’re shopping online, definitely make sure you check out street style photos for size reference!
  • Look at different prices for at least a week, so you make sure you get the best deal out there. Unless it’s a bag sold out everywhere and it’s a classic you know you need, you don’t want to spend too much when you could have waited a bit.
  • Make sure it will last a lifetime. I always look for classic designs that just elevate a look.
  • Go for super convenient sizes. I realized I wear comfiest bags the most and those that at least fit my phone and a wallet. Otherwise when would I wear it?
  • Do your research. If you have three bags in mind make sure you research which one is the most coveted so that it would not deteriorate in price. This mind sound exaggerated but I’ve been there and I’m glad I researched more than the usual to get the best option.
  • Make a list of what kind of bag you need the most. Is it an everyday casual bag, a going out one or a big tote for work. Then prioritize and get the one you need the most first. This also sounds exaggerated but I swear I’ve wanted so many styles and had to decide which one I truly need first.

Hope this helps if you’re trying to get a designer bag and don’t know where to start. I now make sure I buy a quality bag that I know I will give to my kids and that they will love! No wonder why I always wear my aunts vintage designer bag and it’s another one of my favorites! Now I understand why I love it so much, it just gets better with age.

Since I was a little girl, I adored make up. I’ve always secretly sneaked to my mom’s bedroom and watched her do her beauty routine before she went to work. When she left, I would sit and try all her make up, hair products and then rummage through her treasured perfume drawer that she often wore. I knew she had a particular scent for every occasion, and it was a whole world for me to open each bottle and smell every single one. I remember I would feel like an adult, get a glimpse of what it felt to be an independent classy woman. I wanted to be like her when I grew up. Little I knew I would end up in the fashion and beauty industry and love everything as much as her. Time made me realize perfumes and scents were so important. I grew to learn that your perfume is essentially your first and last impression. It can define your presence and make you stand out. But there’s a thing, perfumes can be pricey, and you don’t want to spend all your budget in them. So today I’m bringing you a little secret I’ve always kept but never shared. There’s this amazing site called Dossier where you can find premium fragrances that are accessible to everyone. Every single of their scents is inspired by a high-end luxury one. I honestly wish I could have found this site back in the days when I moved to NYC and was a student on a budget. I would have saved so much money! Dossier is the perfect place for those who don’t want to hurt their wallet but want to experience sophisticated fragrances which are on par with high end luxury ones –for example there is this bleu de chanel dupe perfume. And just like that, you can save hundreds and find so many more affordable options.

With Dossier enjoying clean, ethically sourced, long-lasting, high-end perfume is within reach. This new way to shop for scents honestly blew my mind. So, if you feel overlooked by the industry that overprices their perfumes still feel fragrances are an investment check them out! I mean, there’s a reason Dossier was founded. They were born out of a desire to make fragrances accessible to everyone. The company realized perfumes were being sold for way more than they cost to make.

They have scents of all types, from fruity to woody, magnolia, patchouli, floral musk, coconut, sandalwood. Their strong masculine scents are my favorite – I honestly wear masculine scents myself if you want to know my actual go to hehe.

Also, their packaging is so high end, minimalist and clean. It looks like the perfect luxe perfume you would get at a high- end boutique. It is so classy like some extremely pricey New York scent boutiques on 5th avenue. I am a sucker for packaging myself, particularly if it looks beautiful in my vanity! I mean, you know clean white packaging with minimalist font is my go- to. I love neutral colors, white and black, and visually pleasing aesthetics.

Moreover, I would totally gift this to a loved one, friend or coworker. It is the perfect gift since they look so beautiful. There are so many options so you can find a customized one for everyone, depending on their style. I mean you probably already know what kind of scent they love!

Anyways, hope you found this helpful. I promise you will not regret giving them a try!
